Taihu Retreat is designed as a wellness destination located on a heritage site in a historic setting. The lakeside retreat consists of a collection of existing buildings, repurposed to suit the facilities, and redesigned to establish a look and feel of traditional Chinese architecture with a contemporary edge. The spa and bathing facility is the highlight of the retreat, featuring outdoor wellness recreation and indoor treatments, thermal and hydro experiences. The retreat is designed as an exclusive venue, yet unassuming and discreet, humbly fitting the site and rooted in it's history.
